Staying True to the Teacher in You with Kwame Sarfo-Mensah (Part 2)

Welcome back for part 2 of Kwame's interview!  Kwame Sarfo-Mensah is a 15-year veteran urban educator and the founder of Identity Talk Consulting, LLC., an independent educational consulting firm that provides professional development and consulting services to K-12 school districts, educators, colleges & universities and educational non-profit organizations. He is also the author of two books: "Shaping the Teacher Identity: 8 Lessons That Will Help Define the Teacher in You" and "From Inaction to 'In Action': Creating a New Normal for Urban Educators".

In this episode, we do a deep dive into having and learning from difficult conversations as a business owner.  We also discuss the responsibilities we have as content creators with platforms.  It is so important to prioritize your mental health, consider the impact you want to make, and act with intention.   Ultimately, staying true to yourself will differentiate you and help you to stand out from the crowd.
